Pastor Cannon, his wife Helen, and their family live in Columbia. He brings significant experience both as an educator and as a minister. His 35 years in education include teaching middle and high school as well as serving in college administration.
He served as a pastor in the African Methodist Episcopal Church for 35 years, spent 16 years with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and more recently served as pastor at Christ Lutheran Church and as interim pastor at Reformation Lutheran Church.
Pastor Cannon is also active in wider church leadership, including the Lutheran Church Council in Chicago, Lutheran Services of North and South Carolina, and the South Carolina Synod.

Hello, my name is Izzy and I am going to be in the church office for the summer! I went to River Bluff High School and graduated in 2025 and am currently a sophomore at Charleston Southern University, studying Athletic Training. I am excited to be here for the summer!
